The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers for the community.

SASSA might be rendering expert services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it's alarmed regarding the significant quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a substantial variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office focused on service the area regularly. The support sassa status check issue developed for intervention activities a high influx of probable beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional methods to permit the servicing of all prospects and increase usage of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
